Creating an assignment with Copyleaks
Go to any course you have and install the Copyleaks Assignment app.
Go to Materials click on Add Materials and choose Copyleaks Assignment .
You will be taken to the Copyleaks Assignment creation page. Fill in the details of your new assignment and press Submit.
After successfully creating the assignment, click on it and you will be redirected to the assignment.
If the assignment is published, students will see it in the materials section in the course. The student user is then able to view the assignment and add a file to be submitted. Submissions are able to be accessed for 2 years.
Accessing the Similarity Report
After a student has submitted a file, the instructor will be able to see it in their assignment view. Instructors are then able to download, scan, and grade the student's submission. There is also a "Scan All" Button to scan all submissions in one click. If the assignments are not manually scanned by the due date, they will be automatically scanned.
If a scan is in progress, an indicator will be visible.
If the scan is complete, the indicator will be visible and display the plagiarism score.
When clicking on the plagiarism score, the user will be redirected to the report
Configure the course options for Copyleaks LTI tool
Go to any course you have, then go to Materials click on Add Materials and choose Add File/Link/External Tool and then choose External Tool
In the shown dialog, select the Copyleaks Tool Provider and then you should only give it a title, all the other fields will be set automatically.
Make sure to unpublish this tool, otherwise it will be displayed to students.
Click on it and you will be redirected to the settings.
