How can I set the default settings for my institution in Canvas?

1. Go to, click Canvas Integrations from the left side, then click the cog icon from the integration to which you want the changes applied.

2. From the scan settings page you will see all of the settings that will be presented to your instructors. You can set the defaults by checking each of the scan settings. Note, checking the setting will still allow for instructors to uncheck the setting. If you want to lock a setting and disable instructors from altering it, you can click the lock icon next to each setting.


Make sure to click Save Settings once you have chosen your preferences.
