1. Make sure your LTI Integration has the API Connected settings as Active:
If the status is "Inactive" follow the steps to set up our API setting instructions here.
2. If the Status is "Active" click on the click Connect Assessment Tool:
3. Enter the Set Up URLs found in Moodle
Navigate to Site Administration in your Admin Moodle account and Click Plug Ins
Then click on Manage Tools
4. Click on Configure Tool Manually
5. Enter Tool Name of your Choice
6. In the Tool URL input field, paste in the URL of the tool you want to add. Here we will use - https://lti.copyleaks.com/api/lti/1.3/assessment-tool/add
7. From the drop down menu for LTI version and select LTI 1.3
8. For Public Key Type choose Keyset URL.
9. Copy the URLs into your Copyleaks account as seen below:
- Public Keyset --> Keyset URL
- Initiate Login URL --> OIDC Log in URL
- Redirection URL --> Redirect URL
10. Select "Show activity chooser and as a preconfigured tool" in Default Launch Container
11. From the dropdown options of Default launch container, select Embed, without blocks.
10. Check the box for Support Deep Linking
11. Expand the Services section, from the dropdown menu IMS LTI Assignment and Grade Services choose Use this service for grade sync and column management:
Under IMS LTI Names and Role Provisioning, choose Use this service to retrieve members' information as per privacy settings.
Under Tool Settings choose Use this Service.
12. Expand Privacy Section, Under Share launcher’s name with Tool, choose Always
In the dropdown Accept Grades from the Tool and click Always.
Then click Save Changes. Moodle will then navigate you to a page where you will see the following.
13. Go to the Copyleaks Page and click Next
14. Click on Configuration details in Moodle
A popup will appear with configuration details you will add to your Copyleaks Account.
15. Copy the configuration as seen below:
Platform ID --> Issue and Audience
Client ID --> Client ID
Public Keyset URL --> Keyset URL
Access Token URL --> Access Token URL
Authentication request URL --> OIDC Authentication URL
Once the links are entered click Finish
Once Finished, you will be redirected to the integration page, where you will see the Assessment Tool is now Connected:
16. To use this tool in a course, click My Courses in Moodle
17. Toggle Edit Mode On, and click Add an Activity or Resource
18. Select the Assessment Tool in the window that appears.
Name the Tool whatever you would like, and click Select Content.
Wait for the tool to load:
19. Click Show More
Here you can confirm the tool is functioning properly by making sure the following fields are selected:
20. Click Save and Display
Tool is now ready to use!
